What a photo can't show you
The after photo is day one.
The real test is week six.
Ask how it grows out, not just how it looks today.
Where your hair starts decides more than the photo you bring. Hair that has been colored at home, lightened before, or straightened with a chemical treatment reacts differently from hair that hasn't. Two people can ask for the same balayage and need two different appointments.
Some changes take more than one visit. Going much lighter, or fixing color that went wrong, can take two or more sessions so the hair stays healthy on the way there. You hear that at the consultation, before anything is booked.
Light changes color, too. The same hair can look warm by a window and cool under salon lights, so bring the photos you like and we look at them together, in the same light.

a big change
Answered here so you are not working it out on the phone.
Probably not exactly, and nobody can promise that before seeing your hair. Every result on this page started from a different head of hair, with its own color history, texture and condition.
At the free consultation Shak looks at your hair and tells you what is possible, and how many visits it takes to get there.
It depends on what is in your hair now. A small fix can be one appointment. Going much lighter, or taking out box dye or a color that went wrong, can take two or more sessions so your hair stays healthy along the way.
Corrective color is priced after the consultation, once Shak has seen your hair. More on the balayage and color page.
Photos of hair you like, and photos of hair you don't. Both help. Tell us what has been on your hair in the last two years, too: color, lightener, a keratin treatment or Brazilian blowout, even box dye. It changes the plan.
